What do you think of sweatshops?

I think it is very important to consider where things were made. Someone mentioned Nike. The tennis shoes that you buy from them are priced at sometimes $150.00! It hardly cost them that much to make them. They are turning a profit that is unbelievable. They pay the people who make them next to nothing, and then charge a horribly expensive price for them on the shelves. A lot of times, it isnt even about the money that we are saving, but the money that the greedy company is making. As far as saving, then well, I guess we have to look at Wal-Mart. And unfortunately, I have to go there sometimes because of my budget. I need to purchase dietetic cereal for my husband, and it is over $5 in the regular grocery stores and at Walmart it is under $4. So sometimes, walmart is neccessary.
