Wanting to become a meteorologist, but not very smart?

I have a degree in meteorology so I know what you mean. Mathematics can be challenging for many meteorology students. You are not alone. Sometimes it will take you longer to figure it out, and that is OKAY. You will need to work on your math. It is very important in meteorology, however it is not the only thing. You can more than compensate for it with other abilities you may have. For example, you may be very good at forecasting, statistics, computer programming, or broadcasting. If you want to study atmospheric sciences, do it and don't give up.
