Where does it say in the Bible, after you die, you are sent to heaven or hell?

you had me til you ended with "eternity in hell", the Righteous recieve eternal Life not the wicked, the wicked recieve eternal Death, eternal punishMent not eternal punishING. but you do have it right about neither Heaven nor hell/hades being "immediate" or there'd be no reason for Jesus' 2nd Coming for Scripture tells us all the state of the dead 53 times, as a sleep, knowing nothing, deeds are done, that's alot of times and Still MANY cannot grasp it...
