I intend to buy an air purifier for my apt and would like some recommendations as to what kind to get.?

I don't want a HEPA one as the filters are too expensive. I do want one that will do the entire apt (is effective through walls), does not produce ozone and costs less than $300. It should destroy mold, dust mites, dust and eliminate odors.
