A question for Wiccans Witches and Pagans?

Fiona Horn is not someone I'd call an informed source. She's a TV witch. I know what she means by saying "A witch that can't hex can't heal" - it means that you need the skills, whatever it is you're going to do. However, hexing is against all ethics. Someone who publishes hexes and encourages people to use them should be avoided.
